In the late afternoon, we drove to Natanya which is on the west coast to visit Joel and Lynn Rosenberg and their four boys. We love this family so much and they are truly one of the most down-to-earth families we know. Lynn had made me a birthday cake; a lemon pound cake, one of my favourites and they had made reservations at a restaurant on the beach! It was such a wonderful evening, the food was delicious and the company even better! The ambiance was perfect; music, a warm breeze, lovely food, the lapping of the waves, lights and wonderful fellowship. I felt so very spoilt!
Our boys are thrilled because they are having a sleepover with them. There will enjoy riding bikes, visiting the parks and swimming in the ocean. Oh what a life! Every day we wake up anticipating great things from the Lord and He is blessing us so much.
Caramelised Salmon….. so good!
Elijah was exhausted! So many late nights this past week!
Okay so this is what I discovered when I went to get my washing out the machine! A HUGE spider which was about the size of a tarantula…. no joke! Jeff said it was the biggest spider he has ever seen in a house. What unnerved me more than anything was that I had put the washing into the machine and that 'thing' must have been in the clothes! Oh. My. Word!! I wonder if we brought this critter back with us from the zoo the day before?

Happy Birthday! and what a spider!
